This award was established in loving memory of Toshiaki Yoshimura, a generous and fun loving man who valued independent thought and personal responsibility for one’s own decisions.
Education is critical to attain the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary for the development of these attributes. Education is therefore one of the most important and profitable investments an individual can make. It is in this spirit that the scholarship is being awarded to a student who displays superior scholastic ability, integrity and contribution to the community.
